A plane landed safely after the pilot died in a plane flight from Brussels, Belgium in Newark, New Jersey USA.
The airline said the crew on the flight included an additional relief pilot who took the place of the deceased man, according to CNN.
The Boeing 777 was carrying 247 passengers. The plane belongs to the Continental Airlines.
The pilot had 21 years working for the Continental Airlines.
