Gala premiilor Oscar 2009,care vor avea loc pe 22 februarie la Teatrul Kodak, şi-a anunţat nominalizaţii.
De departe câştigătorul nominalizărilor este pelicula, ''Strania poveste a lui Benjamin Button", cu Brad Pitt în rolul principal şi regizată de David Fincher care are nu mai puţin de 13 nominalizări la premiile de anul acesta.

Pe poziţia secundă la nominalizări se află ''Slumdog Millionaire",fiind nominalizat la 10 categorii.
